The Butterfly Rose Story...


Kaye and Carol met while attending acting classes in Tennessee and both got parts to work in country music videos together. They moved on from that experience and eventually lost touch, but several years later in the age of social media,they connected once again and discovered they still had creative interests in common.

Sharing conversation over coffee in a Nashville bookstore, both realized they had a passion for songwriting and performing, so they got together and started writing and rehearsing for an upcoming festival.
 
Surrounded by guitars, notebooks, lots of coffee and a few fresh-baked cookies,the future of "Butterfly Rose" began to take form and both girls knew they were on the right track.

"It's almost like the plan for us to work together was already in place and we kept diligently working,trying to catch up to it."

Through a series of discussions during writing sessions,Kaye and Carol discovered their paths had crossed even before they met each other in acting classes. They realized they had more in common than they ever imagined and decided they really were meant to be together as songwriters,singers and friends.  
    
Every goal and plan that gets put into action continues to be reached. This determined duo has already been in the studio cutting original tunes and they currently have a video out for their first single, "Mountain Girl" that was shot on location in both Nashville and Gatlinburg, TN.

One of the main goals that both girls are passionate about is "giving back" to empower women of all ages to discover their own talents and live their dreams.  The name "Butterfly Rose" is very significant as their group name, but it also has a purpose of its own that is currently in the works.  Carol and Kaye continue to be amazed by the series of events that brought them together and are committed to using their talents to help others. Their hearts are in every word they write and every song they sing and they want to use their music to make a difference.
